I've got my PhD degree in a foreign institution. To be eligible, do the certificate have to be recognized under brazilian laws? 
Yes. As stated in the selection call it is necessary to present at the time of registration the doctorate diploma recognized in the form of Brazilian legislation.

Any professor of the Graduate Programs participating in the CAPES PrInt-Fiocruz Program can submit a proposal for a scholarship?
No, only civil servants of the institution who are effective and active in Fiocruz.

What is the difference between the Senior and Junior category?
The Junior category consist of researchers who have a degree in a maximum of 10 (ten) years and the objective is to provide opportunity to deepen studies and research for researchers in the academic consolidation phase. The Senior category is intended for researchers who have a degree obtained for more than 10 (ten) years, with the objective of serving researchers who have proven leadership in national and international academic or research circles, with recognized scientific and technological productivity in their area of knowledge.

Benefits/Scholarship

What are the benefits granted under the CAPES PrInt-Fiocruz program?
The benefits available to future scholarship holders are regulated by Capes Ordinance nº 1 of January 3, 2020 depending on the modality, and may comprise monthly stipend for housing, installation aid, health insurance, and travel expenses.  

Will I receive any additional funding to take my dependents with me to the internship?
No. The CAPES PrInt-Fiocruz Program grants only benefits to the scholarship holder, not extending to its dependents.

Will I receive the benefits of the scholarship in deposit in my Brazil account?
Yes, scholarship holders whose period is up to 6 months receive their benefits in the Brazilian account.

Is it mandatory to get a health insurance before traveling 
Yes, as required by CAPES, the health insurance must be valid for the full period of the internship.
